The kids went with my Mom to SC. I miss them already. Why I miss screaming, fighting, spitting and general discord...I dunno. LOL.
Nah...I have been working on the house taking advantage of the blissful silence.Put up wainscoating in the breakfast room all by myself! Still finishing up all the trimming details tho. Seems to be taking forever to get that job finished.
Kevin is still outta town, so it is REALLY quiet now. Hell...I have even brought Mom's stupid little doggie in,(his name is buddy) just to have something to yell at. LOL,,,just kidding. Buddy is funny...he is a whiner, tho!
Alas...laundry is calling my name.

We went to church Easter Morning. Everyone looked nice and proper for church. I even wore make up. Altho , from looking at the pic I think I may have put on too much. O well,:P....I tried. I like how everyone was wearing such 'Easter-y' colors. Anyway, we went to Hillside Park in Memory of Grandma. (I miss her especially during the holidays)Church was nice, the new preacher was good. Saw Jerry,Darlene and Kristin. Also saw Grandma's nephew, I cant recall his name, but he looks just like our late Uncle Curtis...which is odd and errie. Any way, here is the pic... Click to enlarge

This song reminds me of my childhood. Altho, I'm not as old as you think. I was raised by my great grandparents. And, I beleive as a result, my outlook is totally different from those in my generation.
Sometimes, I find it so polar opposite from my own views. But, then I realize how lucky I was to have God fearing Grandparents who took their time to educate me in The Bible.
Now with a family of my own, I realize how important it is to teach the child in the way they are supposed to go, so when grown, they will know 'the way'. Things like this don't become apparent when your young, only when faced with task of raising your own family does it truly manifest itself to you.

Random Music I Love
Mood:  accident prone
Topic: Random Music I Love
Okay, since this is my first entry on this subject, i figure i will open with the reason for starting this topic.
i like every kind of music there is. Rap,Country,Gospel,Classical,Blugrass, etc. Some people find it rather odd to see the assortment of downloads of different styles of music. So, i thought i would share my bizarre music collection here with you now.
We will start with the first random song just pulled randomly, from my hard drive,in no specific order...i just want that to be clear. :*)
There will be 1 of 3 things that will follow the song...
A) i will write a little commentary about why i like/love the song
B) i will write a little commentary about why i downloaded the song
C) i'll write nothing because im a really strange gal, and im prone to doing wierd things.

mkay, moving on.....

song number 1

k....altho i love putfile. best free site i have ever found yet.
I have found another site you can upload your videos to. this site isnt really for regular home clips which putfile is best. This is more for funny or short comedy clips. beware that there are racey,pg13 clips but all vid's (unlike putfile) are prescreened before acceptance. but no worries as mine were available in less than a day at the longest and less than an hour at the shortest. very cool service. yea fer go you find other funny vids you can grab the code and put it on your own website or blog. keep this in mind when you upload your movies...everyone and anyone can see them! Best of all this site hosts and gives you the codes for placement on your sites, blogs and email. Too cool...check it out. My name is Carolina Rednecks...check em out! heres one now...

Charlee & 13 Pennies
Mood:  chillin'
Now Playing: the t.v. is blaring from the other room as usual
Topic: My Kids
I was just cleaning up some papers in my livingroom and came across a scrap of paper that made me laugh so hard.
The other day, Charlee (my 8 year old) and I were gathering change from amongst the house. After she got it all together I told her to go list all of the monies and the types of coins and add it all up. Since we homeschool, I like to use every single opportunity to squeeze a little lesson in there.
Well, as promised she returned with a neatly printed paper along with detailed amounts of change recorded. Well, I suppose I should point out now, that Charlee's strong points are not spelling. She usually phonecticly spells everything. I always correct her afterward, but I always want her to try first. so....when looking at her list I noticed the usual misspelled words. And then...there it was.
Instead of 13 penniesThere was 13 'penis'! Spelled absolutley perfect!
I have to say....I laughed so hard I did cry. When she asked me why I was laughing, I had to tell her. After explaining as graciously as I could, I had to commend her on her excelling spelling of the word! LOL! She exclaimed, 'I promise Mommy, I didnt mean to write that word!' ROTFL

The Colombine Shootings
Mood:  not sure
Topic: Videos
i saw a little mini movie that some one posted in a forum. these were my thoughts...

to be completely honest. i have never watched the videos from colombine because such things stay with you for a long time after you watch them. i do have this to say about dylan klebold and eric harris. they are the poster children of todays forgotten youths. i am not blaming their parents, but, i kinda am, i suppose. parents are responsible for their children. those boys were crying out for attention long before the actual shootings. they (dylan and eric) felt ignored and angry. and these feelings probably started at home. your children are what you make them. the subtle signs you give off is silent clues to children. if you care about only yourself or disrespect others at random, how then, can you expect anything different from your children.
and...even if things are beyond your control as a parent, you get your children help.why, when they were children, their parents didn't recognize the warning signs, is beyond me.these parents were not involved enough to know what was going on in their kids lives. and just think. how much that has cost them, now.what a big lesson to learn. one that all parents should take to heart. too many people died that day for it not to be a lesson for us all.

God's Mind..Who can know it?
Think about this....
What if you tried to explain to your dog..for instance..the meaning of being a human.Like why we wear clothes..why we work and live in houses. I could talk to him...explain things to you think he understands you? No. Why? Because...we are much higher in itelligence than an animal. Superior.

Now..think about God. The Creator of the Universe. The creator of science, mathematics and astronomy. The Almighty. Alpha and Omega...Begining and the End. How can we...ever possibly understand the mind of God. Thus...the mystery of life. We are only human. We are not perfect. We are not 'gods', so our mind cannot comprehend the mind of God. Even if He...explained it to us..Himself. Our tiny little brains just wouldn't get it.

But..God even answers this question in the Bible. He said...When we get to heaven...this mystery will be revealed. So...i guess we will all just have to wait n see. This is where faith plays it's role. Faith literally means...'the belief of something, unseen'

Evolution.....My Thoughts
Topic: Creation vs Evolution
evolution is a sad lie that millions of people beleive. it was taught to me in school. i knew even as a child that it ,evolution, couldnt be right because why would there be monkeys.wouldn't we all be intergrated by now? supposedly, the earth is ba-zillions of years old...surely we wouldve 'evolved' into a single race as well. and one more they expect me to beleive that we only just started recording history approx. 10 thousand years ago. ? I dont know how old the earth is. no one does. even the best scientists can only guess. Scientists want you to beleive that we didnt have language for thousands of years...what????? That doesnt even make sense. I'm a reasonable person...i think logicaly and factualy. And based on just science...i beleive that evolution is impossible. The man who even first brought it up repented in his later years from his beleifs. Darwin said on his death-bed, he wished he "had not expressed my theory of evolution as I have done." Others will say he didn't say it....but, God knows the truth. I can only hope he was right with God before he died.

Questions on Faith
Topic: Creation vs Evolution
You know, it is odd for me to say this, but sometimes I think I have a fear of all this 'faith' and 'how the universe was created'. Is this a sin? To have a fear of your faith {like godphobia or something}---Question in a forum

Vandoodle's Answer:
turn to the bible for your questions...God said to search the scriptures. Try them and test them. He also says to pray for faith. Faith is like any other personality trait. Some people are nicer than others while some seem to be born mean. Some people have 'naturally' more faith than others while some can beleive in nothing.
There is one way to go to heaven. Belief of Jesus Christ the Son of God,The Resurection, and nothing more. God doesn't even require you to beleive in Him...because you see, you can't beleive in one, without the other. The fact you question, isn't a sin. The fact we are all sinners is why we question. It's our flawed human nature.
Fear is good. You should fear God. Just as a Father reprimands his children, and they fear him when they misbehave. Yet they love him. The Father loves his children, yet when they misbehave, they are dealt with. Just as a Father gives his children here on earth good gifts, so does The Heavenly Father....Im getting off the ill just end it there...

Topic: Creation vs Evolution
I was listening to a facsinating radio segment the other day and heard some incredible stuff. If you beleive in evolution and really beleive that it is based in science, well. You would be surprised. Visit this website to hear from REAL scientists who beleive that evolution is a myth. See for yourself at the Institute for Creation Research. Here's a link...Institute for Creation Research Oh, BTW, Happy May Day!
