An Old Irish Folk Tale holds they key to an annual Halloween Tradition.
Story goes there was atrickster named Stingy jack who made a deal with the devil that backfired. When he died, niether
God nor the devil would claim his soul. He was then cursed from then on to roam the Earth for all eternity with only a carved
out turnip lantern to light his way.
This is where Jack O' Lanterns came about!
