Seeds of Ivy berries were found inside hailstones that fell on Whileshire,England in 1687.

During a severe hailstorm on May 11,1894, a gopher turtle encased in ice fell on Bonvina,8 miles east of Vicksburg,Mississippi. During the hailstorm a small block of alabaster,also encased in ice, fell on Vicksburg itself.
