The Himalaya Mountains are the tallest existing mountain range, and have been called 'the roof of the world.' They are also
playing home to the mysterious creature known as the Abominable Snowman.
Sightings include Nepal, China, Siberia, and numerous other remote Himalayan villages. Its legends are similar to that
of our North American Bigfoot: large footprint, bipedal, and hair-covered, but the Yeti is said to be white in color and only
existing in extremely cold climates.
The last reports of Yeti sightings were as recent as 1998, when an American climber claimed to have measured a footprint
in the mountains that was thirteen by eighteen inches in size. Certainly these tracks could only be that of a 7 foot tall,
ape-like, snow dweller, and not an oversized snow boot...right?
