Everybody was in full swing at Everybody's Day 2004 in Thomasville, N.C. this past weekend. This city wide celebration hasbeen going on here in this little city for the last 94 years. The first Everybody's Day was in 1908 ,making it North Carolina’s Oldest Festival. Everybody’s Day is always held on the last Saturday of September in downtown Thomasville.

The swings were a big attraction to all the children who came. Long lines preceeded the ride but everyone waiting just didn't seem to mind.
 

The Marine Corps. were there challenging all young men to try their small test of endurance. This young man did a painful 20 chin-ups, impressing the young boy in the foreground.
